The 40 is made of vegetable tanned leather - the most ancient, most eco-friendly tanning method available. The vegetable tan process uses plant and tree bark to achieve the colour, and tan the leather, therefore limiting the Over time, the leather will develop a patina. It will absorb all of the scratches and scars along the way, and become darker as it ages.
